Brake light staying on when engine turned off

Morning All!

The driver side brake light on my Clio has developed a fault and won't turn off... even when the engine is off and I've left the vehicle. Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like a bad earth ? Or possibly a brake light switch getting stuck ? Could be wrong though

Thanks Zombie... will check that later. Only thing throwing me is it's only one light and it's staying permanently on.

Yeah that's a bit wierd did think that more than likely a bad earth I'd imagine

Check there is no corrosion on that rear light cluster, or any around the bulb etc
