brake lights and indicator help

the gf got a pull last nyt from the traffic as when she brakes the indicator light on the n/s comes on any ideas guys is it common ?

Take the light apart so you can get to the connectors (pins) and clean them up...plus check the earth wire :)

cheers guys just did the earth and then noticed that the connectors were a wee bit rusty and clend it up plugd it bak in and it wasnt working at all so pulld it out slightley and its working tho its a bit templmental?

Mines did this, when I pressed the brake all my indicators lit up, cleaned rear light connectors problem sorted.

It's a pain in the neck, chances are it will happen again so keep on top of those connectors.

I'm getting a similar problem ,guessing it's the same story.

indicate left, when the lights are on, and I get the rear fog warning light.

going to tear the cluster out and do the above, will update

Had this back in September, fog lights flickered when I indicated left?? Removed & cleaned connectors, sorted!

And the update is that after no time at all, and doing very little, it's all fixed

A squirt of WD40 on the connectors and that was all I did. There was no corrosion or dirt built up, did both light clusters and the number plate light whilst I was at it and now all seems dandy
