Brake lights not working

This is on a MK1 172 the lights have worked in the past and now all three of them dont work the fuses isnt blown so i dont know where to go now.

Any Advice

Brake light switch just above the pedal... its either clicked all the way in or you need a new one they are not very much.

I'd say it's the brake pedal switch as Jon says. Failing that though I guess the earth could be loose or similar, do all the other lights work?

yup all other rear lights work

cant see this so called switch? can you give an exact location?

The switch is mounted on a bracket up above the brake pedal. When you press the pedal it activates the switch lighting your brake lights.
You will need to look up 'n' under!
