Brake lines

Mornings,

Ok a may need to replace part of my brake line. After putting braided lines in we can't get the nut undone for one of the rear lines as it looks like someone has had a go at it before and rounded the nut. Before we go ahead and try and force it off I want to get a bit of replacement pipe in case the pipe fractures or something.

I know there is a Clio in a brakers around the corner from me. Would the pipe be the same or is it rs or cup specific?

what/why do you need to replace it?

RS's are not the same as normal clios and i think 172 cup is specific

It's the green metal line that runs from the hose into the compensator valve?? (some sort of box thing). It's like a funny u shape.

I just want the have another one spare in case we brake the one on the car and then my car has no brakes

True.

It's a just in case scenario really. I don't want to fracture the pipe trying to get this bloody nut undone that some numpty has rounded then have to leave my car standing until I source a new pipe.

If I have a replacement pipe to hand I won't be too bothered about being massively careful.

Some small car part shops can make you up a pipe to fit, ask around your locals. I know my local shop can make them.
