brake lines?

Out of curiosity why? Wouldn't it be pointlessly expensive to do that with proper stainless fittings?

With the hard brake lines there wont be any movement in them.
But with braided lines I bet there is still some flex in them.

Id keep the steel brake lines and just replace the rubber hoses with Hel brake lines which have stainless steel ends.

Its certainly possible, but copper lines are lighter and last longer so I would just put copper pipes on if you are renewing, the only reason to use flexible pipe is when it needs to bend.

So personally I cant think of a reason to do it really, unless you just get turned on looking at bits of braided hose I guess, in which case you could just run some and not bother putting brake fluid in it, then it would last forever for you to sit and admire? lol

Just rig up some copper lines and just use stainless for the hose ends with the banjos to your brembos. Spend the change on beer/strippers/blow. Done.

I've been thinking about this lately, want to run copper lines along the body work then a single braided flexi from arch to rear caliper. Anyone done this before? Is the connection a standard size on the caliper?

Yeah its all pretty standard stuff, if you measure the length you want and talk to someone like merlin or goodridge they will have all the thread details on file anyway.

Used them for rear lines on the cup deleted the hard pipe at the rear yellow lines thow
Hi cs_dave , any pics of your set up available, I'm thinking the same as West's can't get hold of the cup rear lines anymore and I need to replace all of my rears from the balance backwards? Cheers
