brake pads for a 1.2

I have a 1.2 Mk1 clio and i think the pads are going, when its wet i have noticed recently that untill the brakes warm up i have no stopping power, this has only been happening since wednesday. Also the brake dust a bit of a dodgy colour. Will have the wheels off and check the pads at some point.

What pads would you recommend, was thinking about greenstuff, but they have had some bad reviews on here. Bear in mind it is only a 1.2, so what applies to a 172 will not necessarly apply to mine.

I got some upgraded pads from k-tec (EBC) which are kevlar, they make sweet FA difference but are cheaper than OE and it sounds great when you tell your mates you have kevlar brake pads..

Erm, do what I did.. Take the opportunity to upgrade the whole brake setup.

I got some Calipers off a Williams (Same as 16v!) and then bought some new 16v/Williams discs/pads from Euro Car Parts. Cost £106..

MUCH better.. much much better than the standard solid discs.

If you dont wanna upgrade, just get some standard pads, heh.. be about £14
