brake pads

quick question - ordering some new pads....and which ones do i need...

1.8 16v Clio - 94 M reg

Girling

OR

Bendix

havent got a clue what it means, i just got asked which ones i wanted over the phone!!!!

are you pads held in by slides or does the caliper cover them and its bolted in place.cant remember which make is which but a 16v clio only had the bolt on type pads(bendix i think but i honestly cant remember) anyway so they shouldnt need to ask.it was only some of the 1.2 or 1.4 clios that had the slide type pads.

Girling is the one you want.

bendix are for solid discs.

couldnt remember which make was what pad but either way the valver only uses one pad type so they shouldnt need to ask if they know what there on about.
