Brake sizes!

  S reg'd Clio 1.4 RT
I have the mk.2 phase.1 1400 RT

Do any of the larger engined versions have bigger calipers and discs
that will be a direct replacement onto my hubs?

Thanks, Kolin!

  Mk2 Ph1 1.2 8v
thinkso, its two bolts that hold the caliper onto the hub carrier - they're the same spacing from clio to clio.

Likewise with the discs.

Probably need the brake lines aswell.

172 ones won't fit without modifications and new brackets making up but its not a huge job.
Best go get some 1.8 16V or Williams or Mk2 phase 2 disks pads brakcets etc as they are a direct bolt on there slightly bigger at 259mm disk vs 239 as you use.

hmm, didnt actually notice the mention of it being a mk1 in the first post.

either way, i thought valver brakes fitted mk2's, and 172 brakes go on lower spec mk2's, meaning 172 brakes in theory should fit a valver? thought it'd be the same for the RT.

Probably completely wrong, lol
