Brake Up Grade

Hi,
Looking to upgrade my standard disc`s and pads on my 172, as I`m using it as a track / road car.
Which would be better - HC Brembo`s or Brembo Max disc`s
And which pads - CL5 or DS2500

What sort of ratio will the car be used on track and road

If more track based you want to be looking at the DS3000 or the DS1.11

Doesn't look to be much different from 2500's/3000's mate.

I have the CL pads and find them very good on my last 2 days at Oulton but my white 2118's a ruined lol note to self don't do my track wheels in white. On the road they sqeal/sqeak like nothing I've ever heard lol tried all sorts to clean them too.

I have white 2118 wheels too, and DS3000/ CL RC6 pads have turned them grey/ black

Glad its not just me then lol, Black next time or by the time i get them done again they will probably be Anthracite/Black anyway save myself a few £££ lol

You shouldn't get fade with ds2500's or rc5's as people have mentioned and the initial bite wont be too aggressive for road use too g172 will sort you out give him a pm mate

@StuOwen86 black wheels turn brown with the dust so you might aswell go with a dark brown powdercoat lol

My anthracite 2118's seem to be the best colour as they always come up the same colour after a clean
