brakes

  AstraVan Sportive
Black Diamond are our best sellers

GOod price, decent quality, good looking, what more could you ask for?

If you tell me the specs i can price some up :)

what do you need to know john. its a 1.2 16v mk2 clio 03. will the black diamiond brakes come with brake pads inc. i dont know much bout it really, just want some good brakes

Depends what yiou want more look more proper stopping power? How much you looking to spend?
Personally I'm happy with stock disks and Halford Ferodo (ie standard) £17 pads. I've yet to have any trouble and there cheap.
If you want somehting a bit better get ds2500 pads and stock disks.
If you want looks the Ktec big dis conversion kit does look good but its no better than stock realy.
If you want the best get some 4 pot brakes about £450 I think using stock disk they are stunning they will stop you dead with no fade ever. My cars got 180hp and its never faded or even a hint of fade on hard track use.
No need for fancy drill disk unless you want them for looks they crack and get blocked up to easily.
Gte some good fluid standard pads new disk and there very good.

From Black Diamonds listings

Discs are £100

Pads are around £30 depending if you have Lucas or Bendix items on the car

Lots of threads on brakes fairly recently I think!

Could try uprated pads with standard discs first and see what you reckon?

What budget do you have? Will make a difference to what you can get, to echo edde's post :)

Get whoever does the brakes to show you how to do it them you'll save yourself the money from then on. All disk brakes are the same realy so you can use the skill (if you can call it that) any any future car.
Not much you can realy do wrong.
