Brand new gearbox - grinding when accelerating in first

  Not a 320d
Just got my car back from having a brand new gearbox fitted. When I accelerate in 1st gear there's a grinding noise and feeling, as though the gear isn't engaged properly. This only happens under full throttle.

Do I let it run in properly or take it back in again.

I had this the other week on my car, turned out to be a bolt missing on the upper gear box mount, maybe they didn't put the top GB mount back properly.

Like yours it was only in first, and only when giving it some.

But anyway, straight back. Don't let them accuse you of driving it for ages, therefore you broke it.

Silly question. Does anyone think its because it needs running in?

Only happens in first. Im not ragging the synchros yet. I dont even think its rpm that does it, more when its under full power.

Just like a grinding noise as though the gear isnt engaged properly. Although doesnt sound like a proper metal on metal cog grinding sound.
