Breaking into a clio

What's the easiest way to break into a clio. My car keys ended up in the washer and now won't unlock my car.

And the passenger lock dosnt seen to unlock the doors

Worst "I want to steal a Clio" troll ever

Brick + Glass... old fashioned but still works

I've got the key but the actual lock on the passenger side door dosnt seem to he connected to anything as it just turns both ways and dosnt open

Get a big screwdriver and wrap the metal bit in a microfibre.

Jam it in the top of the door and bend the door outwards.

Stick a lump of wood (I used my jumper tied in a knot last time) and prop the gap open.

Stick an old coat hanger in the car and pull the door handle.

Put your key in a pot of rice to get all the moisture out once you have taken the battery out. Replace the battery, and see if that works... Not really ideal to have a thread in how to break into a Clio to be fare, I'd be asking for PM's in response rather than asking people to put on here how they do it...

I don't understand why OP can't just put the key in the passenger door and turn it?

The key went in a washing machine, not chopped in half with an oxy torch.

Because (if you read the thread) the key blade does not fit the lock and so the 'anti theft' device is kicking in. AKA, the lock is just spinning.

I didn't no that was the case, would that suggest my card had a new ignition barrel? Just the key fits that

Possibly another door fitted in the past and they couldn't be bothered to swap the locks over?

My mrs used to have a ph1 1.2 clio.

Her door lock would spin occasionally and the key would do nothing. Its hard to explain, it was almost like the outside of the lock had turned through 180 degrees. She used to stick the key in just a fraction (like 2mm) then turn it 180 degrees then put the key in and try it, if that makes sense?

Used to always work for her - even if it did take severall attempts. But then again it might just be the wrong lock / key on your car.
