Breaking the clio - acceptable prices?

following the clios final outing at trax, i'm going to be splitting it back to standard. going to buy some replacement parts, but some parts are going to be sold on a part-exchange basis for standard parts.

so...

carbon bonnet - 200, or 100+your pearl black bonnet
smoothed front bumper, almost completely mint - 150 ono
172 ph2 rear bumper, pearl black pretty mint condition - 100
one off carbon insert for the above rear bumper - offers (probably ebay)

182 front seats, 172 rear bench, and alacantra door cards mint condition - 350 + your interior (must be mint dynamique one)

ms designs front grille in pearl black. probably needs respraying soon - 80
pearl black mk2 ph2 side bumpstrips with smoothed badges absolutely perfect condition - 100 + standard plastic ones in px

white willy wheels - 250 ono

FK highsport coilovers - 300 ono

powerflow sports cat, and stealth cat back stainless steel exhaust - 200. will have to arrange for my local powerflow dealer to cut it off (as the sports cat needs to be welded in to stop it blowing when using crappy clamps)

pipercross viper with custom red samco inlet elbow and stainless steel section that goes to original location in the 1.2 engine bay - 150

pioneer deh-p77mp head unit - 100ono

real carbon fibre dash inserts for the mk2 ph2 - 40 (got 2 sets)

carbon covered front diamond - 10

spare steering wheel insert for the mk2 ph2 RS wheel - ebay probably

k-tec big brake 285mm conversion brackets with discs - 70

possibly a mint 182 RS steering wheel. this may be going in the new car though.

momo airmetal gear knob - offers

there may be some other stuff for sale, if i decide not to use some of it. but doubt ill sell the V6 spoiler, as ill be fitting it to the RS.

shows the smoothed front bumper, and the smoothed sidestrips that ive had for a while now.

As for prices well the wheels and Coilovers sound reasonably the brake kits not a bad price though.

Just buy some second hand hubs they are a direct easy fit £60 for a set or less.

edde, isn't there more to it than that? I thought you had to change ABS sensors or something too? Besides I can get a set of 52mm coilies for £370 so may just do it that way instead.

my clio is a early 02 plate and the fk coilovers fitted my clio no problem.

Yepo swop the ABS sensors but few breakers remove the sensor so you just plug the new ones in.
Only another 4 nuts to undo to fit differetn hubs 5 if you chnage the ball joint at the same time.

1.2 8V use the 52mm hubs the rest of the phase 2 mk2's use 58mm hubs excpet the Renault Sports.

I'm not sure a V6 would look right on a Ph-Quiditch to be honest, unless it was CC's.

thanks it'll be sad to split her, but if everything sells on here, i know its all going to a good home. btw the car itself will be forsale around christmas time, as standard with the sideskirts (cant bloody get em off) for around the 3k mark. Done 46,000 miles, 53 plate air con, etc etc and has been loved! had half of it resprayed due to not being happy with paint quality :approve:
