Generally, how much would a Clio 1.4s brake for...

Mine's just failed it's MOT and I need to work out whether it's worth fixing or not.

Needs new discs pads master cylinder and brake servo.

Please tell me you took it to a reputable place, and not somewhere like KwikFit ?

So it needs a bit of a brake overhaul? Not worth breaking the car for that imo.

Didn't take it to kwikfit, will have a price by tomorrow.
Any idea what is a good price for this work?

Discs and pads are routine, can happen on any car.
Master cylinder and servos a pain but like daniel said not worth breaking a car for.

Set of pads are about £12.

Discs are £20 for a pair

Master cylinder will be about £20 from a breakers.

Servo will be about £35 from a breakers.

Plus whatever they charge labour. I'd guess at about 4 hours labour at circa £30 per hour.
