Briefly back to the Ecotek

it proves you got 54.1 something.

Nothing like undeniable scientific proof........shame nobody has any.

54.1 mpg and was with Rich_M at the weekend who - in exactly the same model car, doing a similar journey - was getting thirty something mpg

i really really dont beleive that. AT ALL

I think its somewhat sus that we cant c the MPG bit of the computer

Tell me.... why do people drive TDIs rather than 2.0 Sports with ecotecks??

That "create turbulence in the inlet" Sorry im not a sceptic really :p

Sorry I have to agree, turned off eco-tech i get 32 max with it on i get 40.8 going down the m25, but i think performance suffers???

erm mate of course thats after a reset its the only way you can do it

as there is no way after doing say 100 miles at about 34mpg will you ever get it up there

but like i said i held it at that for about 5 miles so it had stabalised and was giving an acurate figure i haad already done about 10 miles since reset tho so about 5 miles in total

I tried that on the motorway but I still think its a false reading. To keep at a steady speed on the motorway you are occasionally easing off the accelerator and almost free wheeling. The funniest way to do it is hold your speed and then drop it into third and paste it. Check out the speed it drops lol
