I have 2Mbps connection. For the last 3 days its been running at 128kbps download and 400kbps upload. I've reset the router etc etc. Anyone got any ideas whats causing this?

AArrrgghhh its currently downloading at 16.8kb/s. I may as well have dial up.

you need to establish if your bras profile has dropped down and your sync rate is normal, or if your sync rate is still low.

i am assuming this is a dsl max circuit due to your 400k upload?

Downloading from where? How do you know the server is maxing out your pipe?

tried loads of online speed tests. as well as limewire etc. now it seems to have settled at 20kb/s download and 40kbs up load.

Try Daves Trailer Page...that often maxes out my 10mb line. You cannot 100% rely on speed tests, and file sharing means bugger all
