Broke my headlight cluster?

  133, 182, Kangoo 182
Got some new sidelight and dipped beam bulbs today and when I was fitting the non-drivers side sidelight I heard a click and the whole thing moved forward.

Whilst holding the bulb holder I can move the inside of the cluster up and down now..

Jumped in the car and used the adjusting dial to try moving them up and down but it just stays really high. Even the drivers side won't go as high as this one is.

Have I buggered it or do I just need to clip something back in?

Kinda urgent as I need lights working for tonight.. :(

yip, bumper off and light outo see the damage.
if your lucky, you may have just dislocated one of the 3 or 4 ball and socket joints in the cluster. if your not so lucky, youve broken a fixture and they're near impossible to repair.

take the wheel archliners off from each side. there ar a couple of large black grommets that need popping ot as well on the roof of the liner near the headlight end in order to get it out completely.

underneath the car, there are about 4 10-12mm bolts holding the bumper on. undo these and take the bumper off. lights are self explanitary to get out once the bumper is off. only 3 nolts golding them in iirc. if you get stuck let me know as i recently took my bumper off to fit xenons

if you have fog lights you will have to disconnect the wiring on the passengers side. there are natural creases in the underside plastic, like a door, to let you get in at them.

heres a pic of what it'll look like when removed.

yeah sounds like it has just come off of one of the ball and socket joins, if you remove the cover on the back of the main beam bulb socket, you should be able to get your finger through and pull it back on! Becareful where you apply force as they are delicate inside and easily broken!

Sorted! Just needed a dads touch lol..

Took out the motor and he was like "hmmm...", put a finger in around the bulb and clipped it back on. It was the ball joint. He soon unclipped it by accident though and realised how I done it in the first place - really easy to unclip.

So yeah - sorted! Thanks guys.
