Broken down!

Could you not probably pick a whole new engine with less miles for a ton?

i duno, its more money to spend to get it fitted tho at end of day and moneys tite atm, just so annoying :(

I bought a 60k mile engine off findapart.com for £120 delivered to my door and paid a mechanic £200 to fit it along with new Cambelt and oil etc.

Just to give you an Idea mate.

AA man told me that my cambelt had gone when all it needed was a new battery and... this other thing. something to do with a magnet in the engine :S only cost me 70 to get fixed... AA are w**k though imo see what the garage says

Lol @ Daniels original comment!

1.2 lumps come up all the time on ebay go for about £150, or contact MATTBLACK. Do the belts as soon as it goes in.

LMAO shouldnt really laughed. Soulda given us a shout if ya needed a hand, or a pair of xenons to show u the way home. LMAO

Lol

So whats going to happen with the car now? Still getting fixed or waiting for engine tranny?

Push it home from the shops? Does that mean it's driven since it broke down...? Or did the AA drop you off there?

He was being towed to a repair yard but the toe eye snapped which left the car stranded at the shops.

good news! being fixed, should be done by tomorow :), bad news, the bumper cracked and the rope burn ruind part of the paint :(

Glad she's getting back on the road. Especially with the meets soon. With your handy work i would have thought you could fix them bumpers up quite easily.
