broken mounting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

does anybody know of any after market engine/gearbox mount? as the rubber on ours is ok but the metal has sheared, any advice will be muchly appreciated.

The cup racers use uprated rear engine mounts. Getting hold of them wont be easy and they maybe uprated for other reasons and have other unwanted side effects.

Im very suprised the metal has sheared though and the rubber is OK.

The top engine mount in my mk1 172 was also sheared in two... just over 100 quid to replace

put on ramp today, top one is slack but not broken, spose to have a measured gap? apparently??? gearbox mount nearly sheared through on metal !!!!!!!! and back stabiliser very soft, has ne1 else come across at all ?

doing in ur engine mounts is from hitting those hump backs too fast you kno!
