Bruces "the price is right"

Hmmm 1700 ain't bad, If you could get that for a bit less. £500 puts an engine in it.

Bamm 3k car all day long. No?

£1000 roughly to supply fit and install a new engine, so not too bad.

Salvage wise its not worth £1700 in bits though imo without the engine, maybe borderline.

Can't you get and engine for around £500? I'm only talking as in fitting it yourself or a mate, no payment for labour then it's a good buy.

My dad buys a lot of cars with engine problems, probably makes over 600-1000 on each one he buys and sells. Sometimes people ask him to dispose of the car for them at his work.

It's a gold mine the c**t has got!

^ or just fit a new engine yourself, which might take a weekend if you have 2 people working onit ;)

you can get an engine for under £500 absolutely, but if you want peace of mind you should change all fluids and belts as its doubtful that any engine from a breakers will have service history!

Though if your going to punt it and take a risk then hey thats your prerogative!

If you look at his buying history then you can see it has had a 182 gearbox put in it. Hence his speedo problems?
