As my bro has said, they've changed the auxiliary belt kit and cambelt. The 'sport specialist' said they haven't changed the dephaser though, said it didn't need to be! Which i thought needed to be done at the same time.

Im so pissed off with the service tbh, ive sent an e-mail to arnold clark and renault uk, so their both going to ring me back. When can i book into BTM and get some good service sam?

After they had changed the auxiliary belt we noticed a tapping noise when idling. After about 15 seconds the EML comes on but then it goes off when you drive?
Never made the tapping noise before they messed with it though.

Yeh they specialise in renault sports. Yeh they said all the belts had been done, brakes were change a few months back, on paper everything is in perfect order, but the car just isnt right. For £6k i couldn't pass it up as it was all sound inside and out, but now im doubting myself. Spoke to fred then and im ringing him back tomorrow to book it in, then i know it will get done properly!

***Little update***
Everything is getting sorted now, its having new injectors as we speak. Also spoke to renault uk and arnold clark, because they said the earliest they can get me an injector is tuesday thats no good for me. So told them about the problems and they got one for me 9am saturday morning. Also put a formal complaint into both of them as well, so we'll see what happens.

Touch wood its all sorted. Its coming down to you guys on the 30th, so fred/you can give it a once over if your there.

*** Little update from the BB's ***
Well where to start............................................. after having major problems with the megane since I brought it, we thought most of the problems sorted.
Got it back on Tuesday the 12th after it having, new injectors, plugs and coil pack. So this is when I thought all the problems were sorted. But how wrong was I. I was driving to work on the Wednesday, when all of a sudden the engine management light came on, so as soon as I got to work I rang arnold clark and dropped it in Wednesday night.
Then got a phone call Thursday morning, saying that injector no2 had gone, and also that there was water in the engine. They said the injector was not a problem, but that the water in the engine was my fault and I had put it there, so after a heated discussion they set about replacing the no2 injector for a phase 2 one, but left the other injectors still phase 1. And also tried to find out where the water was coming from.
So got the car back on Friday morning all fine and dandy, no lights have appeared on the dash board as of yet. But I've encountered a new problem, there is a tapping noise that has appeared under the car, but im NOT taking it back to arnold clark, they don't even know what they are doing, so its going to Freds on the 30th of this month so he will have a 'PROPER' look at it.
So since I got it on the 29th July its had:
New disks
Pads
Aux Belt and pulley
Spark Plugs x2
Coil Pack
Injectors x2
Wheel Balancing
Tracking
On a lighter note a few mods:

Yeh its when i pull away and then it just rattles randomly, its getting really worrying.
Yeh apparently i put the water in the engine, because i dont want to drive the new car i bought :/
James got them off megane sport, got 2 spare if you want to buy them

Yeah, sounds like metal on metal tapping. Sounds like it's coming from under the middle of the car. Maybe the exhaust possibly do you think?

Feel it when your in the front passenger and driver seat. Almost sounds like its coming from under where the centre console is
James got them off megane sport, got 2 spare if you want to buy them

£4 for the two. They're fcuking awkward to get to as well. Especially the drivers side one with the air con pipe and screen wash pipe in the way
Definitely mechanical mate, almost like someone is knocking underneath the car!

Not really, when driving it still does it. The only way i can describe it is someone hitting the underneath of the car with a hammer.

Had the back box chopped today at Danmar Custom Exhausts in Wigan, They've done a tidy job :approve:

Also took a trip down to Fred at BTM for a 'health check'.... it's not good news
It needs a lot doing to it, hopefully we can get it done on warranty.
