What camera are you using? Looks like you could've done with a slightly faster shutter speed. Great action shots though... The television doesn't capture just how hard they hit that chicane!

A old D40 mate. I used 2 lenses, a 70-300mm Sigma I borrowed off my bro and my 18-70 but with a 2-400 filter that got used all Sunday in the blazing sunshine. I used it slow the shutter speed down a bit so that the effect of speed was more obvious but do you reckon I overdid it? Not a fan of seeing moving cars with stationary wheels! Always keen to learn

I'm still learning myself as Motorsport photography isn't easy!

I find you have to play about with the shutter speed until you get it right... Were you panning when you were shooting? I think that's the key, but I could be wrong lol.

I was for the more side on ones, it only takes 2 photos a second so timing is tricky! The chicane ones I couldn't as they were heading towards us then.
