Bucket seats

Has anyone on here fitted bucket seats to there 172/182, just wondering as i dont think i have ever seen a 172/182 road car with them :S I like the half leather/alacantra interior myself and would be my prefrence

What are buckets like to live with daily??? Harnesses a pain, long drives, etc??? I really cant decide whether to get buckets or leather interior for my cup.

there ok, 4 point harnesses are fine, i went and fitted the full 6 point and then it got on my nerves!

i think there better than the standard 182 seats and will be order some new ones soon. but im going for seats u can use the normal seat belt with for road and then harnesses for track.

I had rage recliners in my old car and i found them very hard to sit on but comfortable on long drives, but too long and you will get a numb arse, but thats just thats seats and my bum lol

O i didnt know you could do that. Could sway my decision. Which seats can u use normal belts with then?

i went to london to a meet, round the city driving and back from manchester in 11 hours total, didnt ache once, 4 points too.....used to them now, so its easy

Ok so can u mount harnesses but keep rear seats? Also F0xy, how much did you pay all in for ur Sparcos as they look wicked!

250 for the pair off ebay, used to be in some sort of rally car! demon tweeks are still selling the exact ones for 240 EACH lol..... i had to get subframes made, then 60 quid for all the sidemounts and 70 for two harnesses, sorted

i have seen the standard belt used with the suzuka above, could be done with any seat really expect the ones with the wings arround the head.

Im going for the recaro pole position or furious the pole position abe is the one that is ment for standard belts

So whats the difference between all the sparco series. I have seen sprint, evo, rev, rev plus so far and all look similar!!!

Dave those Suzukas look the part! Im shopping for buckets as well but can only really stretch to 600 all in so looking at Cobra Daytonas

i was using a standard belt on my corbeau sprint for a while. You just unbolt the seatbelt anchor, thread the belt through the side harness slot and bolt the anchor down again.

the best seats to buy could be the recaro trendlines because that what renault were offering as a option on the 182 ff and cups. Also were standard in the trophy and i believe the megane r26 leaves the factory with them as well. You can use the seatbelts with them as well and they do look good

are there are subframe/mounts available for bucket seats or do you need to get some fabricated?
