Bugger and double bugger: no 2.0 for me:(

Just been off the phone to the people who were supposedly supplying me with a Williams F7R 2.0 bottom end. Theyve cocked up and have lost the unit they were going to supply me with.

Pretty cheeky really as they debited my card last Thursday. Moreover, I had booked my car into the garage to have it fitted tomorrow!

Am very pissed off to say the least, having thought Id found what (along with leather interior) is probaby the rarest upgrade for the Valver. Poo.

Just my luck. Ive now got the £1500 the whole project was going to cost me and nowt to spend it on.

Want to buy some Technics decks? ;)

Seriously though, theres got to be some scrapped 2.0 meganes hiding somewhere...

stung!

find another, or call them back and tell them to get it! you cant loose an engine, you can sell it to someone for more! haha

hmmmm sounds very familiar.....

I had the exact same problem using the exact same search system as you. only difference is they neva took the money out my account, but never let me know so I was waiting for weeks...!

and listen to Jimbo, i looked it all up and it came to around £2k

Hmmm... TBs were top of my list before, but at the time the Willy bottom end came up I leapt at that because its so rare to find one. I think Im going to sit on the cash and wait for enough to TB my F7P 1764cc unit now. Ive also looked into it, but it seems to come to nearer £3,000 with a WeberAlpha setup.

hand me 1300 minus the ECU and your set.........ECU is your deal, i hate wires! lol
Cant argue with that! -

I agree that it sounds like they found someone with more cash for the engine!

I have a complete (Original) willy engine with only 120.000 Km on the clock, engine, ecu cabling and gear complete for € 1700. Only one problem you have to get it here in Holland. The engine is from a willy with number 2063 if I´m not mistaken.

Cheers

Tony - Im afraid that Holland is indeed too far!

Ben - would like to talk to you about this - you know from our previous conversations that Im interested. Maybe we can talk when I get back from holiday in early August?

Have just come back after a couple of days away and found that this company have not refunded my money yet - even after they said they would immediately on Tuesday (8th July).

So they still have the money and have neither delivered the goods nor refunded the money to my card.

Luckily, I took my own advice and bought it on a credit card as the credit card company effectively "buy" the goods, hence covering you (the account holder) if anything goes wrong. I also work at Citizens Advice and am well versed on what to do about matters now. I have already informed the credit card company about this tale; they will now dispute the transaction if I do not get an immediate refund when I phone these cowboys tomorrow morning.
