Bulb stuck in wrong holder

Car  Arctic 182FF
Just got a new set of rear lights and managed to get the indicator bulb stuck in the reversing light holder. Does anyone know a way to get it out? Preferably without damaging the bulb but not essential. Thanks

Chrome indicator bulb in reversing light holder, put in old indicator bulb so that it still works.

I tried pushing down hard and twisting very hard, one of the knob bits is in place, behind the hook sort of thing, locked in place, the other isn't so when i twist there's no space for the non trapped one to move in to in order for the trapped one to be freed, no idea how i managed to get it in like that to be honest.

Ok will try with WD40 now, failing that I will smash the bulb and get it out. Thanks for the advice

no probs, you tried pushing it out? if only one side is hooked in push the bulb to that side (will lift the free side outwards)

but that depends on how deep it is in :/

Tried WD40 to no avail. Can't push it out as its in really deep, will have to just smash the bulb, thanks for the advice

Managed to get it out without breaking the bulb by using a small flat headed screwdriver to open up the holder a bit and it just slipped out :)
