Bulge on the tyre

How dangrous are they on the wall? I have one on my newish tyre.

very dangerous.... could easily blow out at any time, also your constantly thinking about it.... better spend the cost of a tire... than your life lol

Yeah deffo new tyre.

The amount of heat generate from the unusual movement in the tyre will cause a blow out.

good plan. my dad even managed to charge a new alloy wheel to highland council!
annoying when it happens. i generally try to avoid potholes/manways but somehow ended up with damage to my previous set of front tyres :dapprove:

either get a mobile fitter to fit it..... if you don't have a spare.... if you must drive it to the tire place then drive very slowly... and make sure you take corners/roundabouts very slowly so the tire walls don't have to work too hard.

The bits that should be holding the air in...aren't.

It's only the rubber left doing the job, and you could mark that with your fingernail - on the road, it's only a matter of time before it goes.

Sods law says it would be on a 70mph left-hander in the damp.

Get it changed, as soon as possible.

Exact same as what i found on my tyre yesterday. I had it off asap, looked like it was for poppin anytime! Glad i noticed it, wouldnt like to think what would of happened if i didnt!

ive seen it on a f1 gsd3 not pretty and always playing on your mind. better of spending a 100 on a tyre than risking injury to yourself and others and having a written off car.
