deadonkey

Hi,

Im looking to put colour co ordinated bump strips on my 1.2 instead of the matt black ones as im quite happy with my cars speed but would like to improve its looks slightly.

can i get 172 ones from renault all painted up (pearl black) and clip them on or do I have to convert mine by sanding them and painting them?

Anyone got any experience, prices etc

renault sell them pre-primed ready for paint but they're not cheap.

cheapest option is to spray them yourself, easiest option is to get a bodyshop to do it for you

Has anyone got a price and a part number.
What prep is required to paint the original items, they are slightly bumpy so would require coated with filler I believe but im no expert on paint.

Does anyone know the Renault part number for the pre primed door handles, also for the back bumper insert on standard clio?

Somebody " was " selling original door handles . PM him , looks like you;d need to prime then yourself , 1 can of plastic primer , dead easy job ;)
