Bumper Fail (pics)

Went for a drive last night with my flat mates, and went into a left hand bend that you get loads of compression from, (Carousel stylee)

As the car is quite low the tyres rub on the bumper bracket when hard cornering and last night it caught it and bent it down, pushed the bumper out and cracked the paint FAIL

Has anyone cut the bumper bracket off and fitted them another way?

I know, i fitted AST top mount the other week and they lowered the car a bit and i didnt wind the coilover up enough. I'm setting the height, camber, toe etc on friday

I took the grinder to the brackets on both sides and haven't had any problems since, but my cars not as low as yours, so wind the coilies up aswell
