Bumper scratches

  Renault Clio 1.2 16v
Does anyone know how to get rid of fairly severe bumper scratches, the corners of my front bumpers seem to have taken some punishment from the previous owner....any thoughts of how to treat it? Or at least camoflage it a bit lol.

IMO, might aswell take it to a bodywork shop and get it color coded, they'll sand it down and get it repaired.

Cheers for the replies guys, i dont really have the money for a bodyshop or new bumper at the moment :(

I tried sanding the scratches down last week (which is shown on the second picture down)

Any other ideas?

Cheers, Chris

Maybe sand them down a bit more & use a finer grade paper as you go along, that will make them a bit less noticeable.
Other than that maybe get the inserts from a scrap yard ?? (if they pop out)

sand them down with P180 so that theres no high bits of plastic, use a stanley blade to cut off any high bits.

then use bumper filler. basically a really rubbery compound designed to fill plastics.

smooth that in then paint them
