They are different because Renault redesigned the front end in late 2003 early 2004 to give us the Mk2 ph3.

The differences are;

Redesigned bumper insert with rounded ends.
New lower section incorporating the redesigned lower front grill.

Everything else should be the same.

No, the bottom picure is the face-lifted Mk2 Ph3. The top pic is a Mk2 Ph2

oooh cheers bud thats great! there offering £4000 from £4400.. its 04 with 27k on the clock, tooras 17's, K&N airfilter with peco 5'' back box, with tints, HOWEVER.. it doesnt have details of serivce history but the cars HPI clear and its been through a recent MOT and thorough check by harrats

do you think its a reasonable price? its only a 1.2.. i wanted a 1.4 but what the heck shall i go for it?

by the way, the car has a K&N Air filter.. i kno its not much but by how much power increase can i expect from the standard?

none, probably a decrease as it's an open IK. The only increase will be in noise and insurance premium
