Burning rubber smell coming from engine!!!

Really need help if anyone can! I have a strong smell of burning coming from my engine. It smells like burning tyres and im quite worried about it. Anyone got any ideas??

check the belts!!

don't start it until you have done this, if it is a belt and it snaps it will be a big bill!

Just got it changed about 5 month ago so hopefully wont be that! Any other ideas mate?

nothing other than having a good look under the bonnet, i'd still have a look at the belts though. just in case!

Clutch burning out it stinks for ages if your not nice to it

probly got nothing to do with it, but i have a similar smell coming from my engine, n i noticed the alternator was gettin very hot very quick, so ive put it down to that for the time being. Mite be summin to check.

as chris said it may be the clutch theyn have a s**tty smell with them when they are slipping, other than that check the belts
