button on end of wiper stalk

Whats the triangular shaped button called on the end of the wiper stalk doesnt seem to do owt!

on the phase 2 valvers it was for reseting the immobiliser. maybe something like that?

Well, Ive never had one.. ever.. feeling left out.

First on my Mk1, Phase3 1.2.. and now on my Williams3.. Never had a button..

Yeah right i would if i new what to search for, it aint in the handbook so i dont know what to call it. Needle in haystack comes to mind.

Without meaning any disrespect it takes as much effort to type use the search as it does to type what the f**king thing is for its a forum not a database.

Surely i dont have to type a disclaimer on the bottom saying "if i could find it using SEARCH i wouldnt bother posting a question"?

For trip computer on R19 i think i was told, either that or something for resetting the immobiliser if u press it for a few seconds.

sorry for the hijack here, but on the same note what does the button on the end of the headlight stalk on my dynamique do?! sweet f.a. as far as i can make out even though the manual claims its another horn button.

its either the ADAC button for the trip computer or is used to manually put in the immobiliser code in case of key failure
