Buying an alarm from eBay

Anybody used Auto-Technics on eBay to purchase a Toad alarm?

Toad Ai606 for £157.50 including the postage.. they say they also offer fitting, Ive emailed to find out the cost inc. fitting, to see if its much of a saving than from my local fitters.

Just wondered if anyone has experience with buying from these guys, or having them fit an alarm.. Probably will just end up buying from the local dealer if noone can offer any experience, alarm just isnt worth compromising on quality, false economy.

Wonder how the local would feel about fitting an alarm I purchased elsewhere..

sounds like a good deal bu tim still a bit hazardous bout the buyin off ebay thing. I sent them an email, gonna have a word with em first....

they may install it really badly tho, the best thing bout havin a good alarm is someone installin it correctly!!

Just checked out the location on Multimap, they are MILES away from me, so fitting by them isnt viable.

Anyone got any idea how much a Toad approved installer would charge to fit a supplied alarm?

They are in Borden, Hampshire, which is slightly further south and west than Guilford.. For me, about an hour and a half drive!
