Buying Help/Advice Needed Please!

Hello,

Im going to see a Clio Sport 172, W reg,with 49k on the clock today, and as im new to Clios, i was wondering if there are any major points i should be looking for, or comment things to avoid.... also any way of telling if its been on the track?! roll cage marks, tyres maybe?!

Im new by the way, but some stunning looking cars on here, superb site!

Check the timing belt has been done, 5yrs/72k.

Hello, yeh he said cam belts due to be done, and we could "sort something out" its up for £5500 ono, been looking around and it seems a decent price?!

From reading posts here, cambelt changes can go for anything between £350-£700. Where are you based? A forum member maybe able to help.

IM near Brighton, Sussex. So i would be wise to either knock a couple of hundred off the asking price, or ask for the cam to be done before i purchase it ?
