Buying Private Plate Help

buying a private plate from a company (irish plate) Wil 3688, but the co needs me to send them my V5 and MOT and Tax disc.......is this right....dont feel very confident abt sending especially my v5 to an unknown company? does this sound kosha?

is it a reputable company?? can;t you just send copies of them??

needs to be orginals. because they need to send all documents to get reregistered since its an irish plate and its an english (uk) car. love the plate sooo much, but i just feel uneasy

Yeah, i had to send my V5 when getting my plate. It was with Regtransfers so felt totally safe. The only place i would worry about sending my V5 to is the DVLA as they lost mine and then claimed i never sent it to them. What a blo*dly carry on that was. Took 7 months to resolve... worst organisation i have ever dealt with ( because they are a monopoly and dont care about customer relations probably)
