buzzing noise?

seems like its coming from the throttle body? plus the car seems to be slower but might just be me (engine management light is on)

i know it can be a number of things so may be difficult to answer, anyone?

Well if you have the fly by wire throttle then it could be the servo which opens and closes the butterfly valve in the throttle housing is very close to giving up the ghost and the ECU is trying to tell you this with the MIL light. Cue no throttle when you put your foot down to move or overtake someone. Get it looked at soon is my advice.
