C5 CUP, Wiltshire

Young lady driving a 172 Cup today through Trowbridge, I think you spotted me.

i work in trowbridge every day at platinum reno and really never see any 172s etc driveing around - or i never get spotted

I dont see many, one Cup lives near Trowbridge College and another Cup is a few doors down from me in Westbury, but thats all I know of. Always a Cup at most action days at CCombe as well, hoping to add mine to that soon.

I drive past Platinum Renault 6 times a day in my Cup! Doesnt seem to be too many RS around here though, I think the Inferno Cup you guys had was sold to a guy who lives in Westbury as Ive seen that twice. No takers on that Acid Green V6 though, its been there (or Bath) since December, cant have been another Vee on the market for that long.

Yup it is, when I was initially looking for a Cup I noticed the Modus on your drive and started to have second thoughts (I figured yours was in for work!). Out of interest have you had a service at Platinum in Trowbridge since they opened? Just wondered what they were like as I havent been hugely impressed with them yet.

TBH I will not go back there again unless I really have too, work seemed OK, they didnt try and blag their way out of any warranty work which is nice (that soon changes in year two of they cars life though!!), its just the sh*te level of customer service on the front desk that bites.

Oh and a 24k service cost me best part of £250 , deffo worth shopping around for prices. I just had my 36k done, shopped around the whole country pretty much (thats the beauty of having a fuel card) and funnily enough Bath were the cheapest, even tho they are part of the same group as Trowbridge.

Normally it gets done at Chippenham as I know the Sales Manager, so I get him to take it in for me and I pinch his car off him for the day. That way I dont have to do what feels like 10 rounds with Tyson just to get a bit of transport off the b******s!
