Cabasse Update List Problems

Treated myself to a used Cabasse head unit, but having some issues, probably me and not the unit!

The unit plays straight away once plugged in for about 3 minutes before asking for the code. During this time it will play the radio or a CD but also produce a high pitched beep every 10 seconds or so through the speakers. The volume of this beep is not effected by adjusting the volume of the head unit.

After 3 minutes or so the music (radio or CD) stops and it asks for a code by displaying 0000. I've entered the code written on the headunit which matches that in the handbook and I immediately get ERROR displayed.

If I power the unit down by either the on / off button or turn the ignition off and on, it starts the playback again with the high pitched beeps until 3 minutes when it again asks for the code.

Any thoughts please?

I know think it a compatibility issue with my Parrot CK3000, but it worked perfectly with my non Cabasse unit.

it is nothing to do with your parrot-headunit is faulty or someone has tried to decode it, cocked it up so it asks for code after so long but it wont accept it.

No it can be repaired, you'll just end up paying more than what you paid for the unit I imagine
