Cabin noises coming from roof/light area?

Hi guys, got my 172 and im really happy with it

just a couple of things...

Firstly, theres a whirring noise coming from the little airvent thing on the roof near the interior light, like a constant humming/whirring, quite loud. When i apply pressure to the plastic cover it stops/quietens down, any ideas?

Secondly, washer bottle leaks, alot, how easy is it to get to to take a look to see if its the pipes or bottle that are causing the problem?

Hi I believe the noise coming from the roof is part of the climate control, it suggests you will need a new sensor which will cost roughly £25 - £30 to replace
The washer bottle you will probably have to remove the plastic trim in front of the windscreen to get an idea of where its leaking from, more than likely the tubes connecting to the bottle (or sub bottle if you have hids)

The washer bottle leaking could be down to your headlight washers leaking.

If you turn your headlights on and hold your screen washers on for 2 seconds, see if you can see it leaking out of the front.
