Cadwell Track Day 28/2/10

Car  R14 CUP
Went to Cadwell today, was two other Clio's there a birchdown decal'd up 172 (lardy) and a decal'd up 197.

Had a really really good day, weather was rubbish - but made the day so much more enjoyable!

Didn't even realise there was a Cadwell day this weekend. Car is looking good and purposeful though, some great shots.
 
Yeah, my friend in the Fiesta seen in the pictures, gave him some hassle though!

Who is lardy on the forum?
 
Thanks everyone for the kind words, the car was a dream to drive around there.

The brakes on the other hand, the green stuff pads over cooked themselves after about 6/7 laps, time for some Ferodo DS2500's i think.

I wouldn't be able to do Bedford anyway, came out on DB meter at 101db's!
 
nice pics, what db did the exhaust make out of interest? mine made 85-90db on idle using an iphone db tester lol :P

*Edit* as if you answer my question as I typed this out, what RPM was it tested at?

5000rpm, so just before it gets an awful lot louder!
 
I was there watching on Sunday. Tidy looking Cup and well driven. I used to have one a few years ago. Still got my winter tyres on the 200 but once they come off will hopefully get out at Cadwell.
The fiesta was going well too!

The exhaust is supposed to hang like that :) Yes, its got a trophy/v6 spoiler on it, i much prefer it tbh. Was yours the silver 200 there? Spotted that in the paddock.
 
Yes, that was my 200. Thought there was something different about your cup. Nice touch with the spoiler. My friend and his son were out playing with the sons metro.

Did you see the S2000 go off?
 
Which metro was it? The yellow one with a white door or the other one?

I didnt see it go off, i was just about to go on track when i came off, and the track got closed. It looked a right mess though, was apparently only a young lad too.

Yeah, my friends fiesta went very well indeed - was neck and neck pace wise as the cup was :)
