CAF trumpets....piper-x

i am most probably going to be fixing air intakes into the fog holes of my phase 1 172, like ads 172 had on his, what i want to check is if anyone knows the sizes of the caf trumpets that fit and whether they are all 1 size.

Dont put air intake in them Neil, use them for brake cooling ducts. Air in take under the n/s headlamp

Ive got mine in the vent, see my guide in the guides section. Ive tried lots of different ways and found this to be the best. Its works well whether you have the standard renault filter or an ITG.

The venairsport stuff that dave's used is far better than the shitty paper/foil stuff you get with a pipercross. Much more flexible and doesn't rip and tear.

i got one off here. just the trumpet and CAF pipe off a viper kit. fit straight into the fog light hole no messing.
