Caliper bolts

Car  Mercedes C Class Sport
I was driving along yesterday and my heard a bag, eventually discovered that the bolt that bolts my caliper to the hub snapped which caused my caliper to open and put some lovely scratches on my inner alloy! Went to renault and they wouldnt sell me the individual bolt, wanted £25 odd quid for a set of 3. Is there no way of getting the individual bolt new on its own?

they come with new pads normally so if you need new brakes you can get them that way

Well yeah you get them but I assume he means the bolts that hold the caliper to the hub rather than the piston to the caliper which is the ones you are talking about.

No bolts hold the piston to the calliper, surely you mean the 8mm bolts that hold the pin slides on?

So if i just buy a new set of pads then I should get the bolts to bolt the caliper to the hub/piston?
