Caliper colours

I have a clio trophy and im thinking about getting the caliper and carrier painted.
Just wondered what colour people think I should do them.
Any picture of painted caliper on a trophy or another red car would be a great help.

Silver or Black. Anything else just looks tacky.

I painted mine red but they didn't look great. Gold or yellow maybe?
Maybe paint a piece of card and place behind to see what it's like

Mine are black on the Trophy. They suit it best.

Gold or yellow, Not to sure in that. Prob will look better than it sounds. Its either black or red I think. But I think if its red then there is to much red on the car and black you will hardly see so is there much point?
Need to see some picture reli to see what it looks like.

Mine were yellow when I bought them and I can confirm that it looks awful on a Trophy!

Well yellow is out the equation. I have seen blue so it ent going to be that colour either. I think either light grey or red not sure yet.

Red could look alright. I did mine black for the subtle approach but if you want them to stand out then red could be a good call.

I wouldn't paint them red on a red car. Looks ridiculous. Too much red. IV got a silver clio 172 and going to paint them yellow like my roll cage so I stand out when I go around the track. Plus I like it. I also have a 207 xs sport which is blue and have mine yellow. Looks mint. Stole the idea of an Arden blue vxr with yellow calipres. Also seen a red vxr with blue brakes. In my opinion this also looked mint. Depends what U want to achieve? Stand out or subtle? If I had a red car id either go black for subtle or blue for stand out. But its all personal opinion mate. Even if U go black it will protect them from our s**t roads

Don't buy Halfords caliper paint. . Mine was bubbling at llandow..
