Anyone reccomend a decent high-temp paint for an anthracite or even dark blue?

Hammerite (if they do it in the colours you want) I think they do though. it's not actual very high temp paint, but it's fine for brakes etc.

Looking like it has lots of potential though mate, will be lush when its all done! Has given me a few ideas too...

and these will fit 172 calipers too?

Branding up standard (non ap racing) 172 calipers ?? If so, that's sad as !!


Dan, yes mate, just a small tin of black hammerite smmooth from b&q. Non smooth (hammered) is rough, you don't want that.

And a small wire brush to brush them clean beforehand? Hmm, sorted.

Yep, piece of cake to do mate. Do the hubs aswell while your at it (the bit where the wheel meets) That'll make them look loads better & it finishes it off.

not sure about that, the plenum might get too hot for normal hammerite paint.

Tried searching it but can't find a definite paint to use on the engine parts, for the colour I'm after
