Caliper Torque setting

In my previous post i mentioned about brake pads

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=179112

anyway im going to do them tomorrow

Now from what i understand the caliper swings up pivioting on the bolt thats slackened off?

So when putting it back together whats the correct torque i should tighten it to?

Also what tools/sizes do i need? as my dads using his tools tomorrow so i wont be able to take everything.

Couple of flat screw drivers, socket set, cooper grease, torque wrench, jack, pliars. hammer!

Anything else?

Tight enough but don't snap them, you don't really need to loosen the top bolt but you can do

You want something to push the calipers back too, large water pump pliers are good or a hammer handle

40NM officially.
be careful though I've had bolt shear on me before now don't do then as tigh as possible.

Hand tight, with thread lock fluid.

"Tight as i possibly could" is just stupid...
