calling all broken gearbox mounts

hello everyone, who has had probelms with gearbox mountings with 2000 onwards clios please ? very stressfull!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my old 2001 1.4 had 2 gearbox mounts go in the same year...

altogether i had 6 mounts replaced in 11 months... not bad going eh?

i have/ and still got a problem with mine, when i put my foot down or lift the clutch up quick it rattles, it could be the engine mount tho lol

no m8 its the 1 under the battery, we should sort a petition to give to renault !!!!! any one else ????

I know this is a common problem loads and loads are done under warently so Renault do know about it.

lol, yeh you could say that.

Olympian Renault in New Milton refused to change them under warranty due to my "tyres producing too much torque for the engine"

PMSL... did you know that tyres produced torque?

anyway, this was the bait i needed to put in an official complaint to Renault about them talking sh*t. This then got it sorted under warranty.

Mine has been in to the garage twice now since this time last year for the mounts&ive just been informed that the mount under the battery on mine has snapped off.
