Calling all Renault Mechanics

If there are any Renault Mechanics out there please can you confirm that a mk2 172 actually has a "Crankshaft Spigot Bearing" as i have been told by a dealers RTE that they do not ??

no they don't have spigot bearings.

If a dealers RTE said so they normally right (expect on somethings)

Little needle roller in the end of the crank. What the input shaft of the box locates into.

when are they needle rollers? Hardly ever thats when!

some do...........but TBH i've only removed a spigot bearing out of cupracers cranks and they run a different box.

182's have a stupid peice of pressed tin/ally put in its place.
