cam belt?

hey ive had my clio just over 2 months it had done 43k when i bought it on a 51 plate the last service was done at 41k i dont think its had the cambelt done at all ive had a quick look at the service book but couldent see anything about the cam kit.... suppost to be changed 70k or 5 years which ever comes first im now at 47k miles and dont really know what too do shall i get it done asap or see if someone can tell if its been done?

Hi, surprised you haven't had a reply tbh, the 182 cambelt was changed at 36k approx £500 so I dont know what the frequency or cost is on a 1,6 can you contact the garage that undertook the service if its renault then it will be logged onto their data base, I would ask the question.

The cambelt on any Clio should be done at 5 years or 72k so it needs checking.
