Cam up grade

Can anywhere suggest the best place to get a cam upgrade and remap in the south west/ south of England please ? Also what are people’s opinions on the cam upgrade available out there is it worth it ?

Yes it’s worth it but best to do it when having belts changed as it’s almost two birds in one.
I’ve got no quarmes going to ktec for cams and map but others have.

Short answer, 197 cam and timed correctly seems to be the best option. @bloke is the man.

Also there’s groupe N timing on standard cams with great results.

Different kettle of fish on the 197/200.

Afik only catcams doing anything on them, probably others but never looked to be honest. You could look at messing with exhaust cam timing but vvt is fully variable so may not be worth/need to do anything inlet wise but again don't hold me to that.

Even a good map on a standard one will make a noticeable difference to the way it drives.

Engine dynamics are probably your closest.

Really I heard it wouldn’t make much of a difference as it’s a N/A. At the moment it’s completely standard mechanically less for an uprated panel filter.

Ah I thought it was a 172/182, not too sure on 200’s
