Yes Fred @ BTM will be recommended by everyone that's ever been to him.

About the tyres, are you running different sizes at the same?

  Icy berg 172 & 172 Cup
yeah different sizes fronts 205's rear 195's handling is all over the place feels really weird , I think it may be tracking/bush related too butcant be sure due to mis match tyres

well yeah for a start it's illegal to run two different sizes and then also the steering/handling will defo be all over the place because of the tyres aswell.

lol, no its not illegal, several cars run different size tyres front and rear as standard!

As long as there on the same axle it's ok, not ideal on a clio though.

Didnt realise it was illegal, dont elise's/vx220 etc have different tyre width fornt and rear ? M3's also ? . I have only driven it back from garage , new tyres will be ordered as soon as I know which size is recomended .

Not if there on the front and the back, as in 205's on the front, 195's on the back it will be fine! As said, a lot of bmw's, elise's etc are like that anyway!

^ABS does go mental if you lean on it, if you have ESP it really s***s itself with different tyre sizes front and rear

cheers for the recommendation

I'm not sure how it would make a difference really? I could never tell the difference when running odd or same all round and I have ABS and ESP. I'd say the difference would be far worse if say you had cheap s**tty 205 on the front and good 205 on the rear.

I running R888's 205s in front and 195s in the rear on my track Clio. No problem what so ever with the ABS. But the ABS on a Ph3 is different than on a Ph1/2 from what Ive heard.

different overall circumference? one pair of wheels would be travelling slightly faster/slower than the other set??
